About Shadcn Chat UI Blocks
Chat UI blocks are shadcn blocks for messaging screens: two and three pane messengers, team and group chats, shared support inboxes, AI agent inboxes, CRM conversations with contact panels and video call screens with participant lists. They are built with React and TypeScript using shadcn/ui bubbles, messages, attachments, input groups, tabs, sheets, dropdown menus, badges and avatars styled with Tailwind CSS.
Every block works like a real chat app. Pick a conversation to read it and clear its unread count, search chats, send messages, react, attach files and switch between panels. On small screens the panes turn into a single column with a back button and the side panels move into a sheet.
All blocks share one quiet design language, so you can combine them in the same product. Chats, contacts and messages live in plain arrays in each block. Swap them for data from your realtime API and keep the same layout in your Next.js or React app.
